Vintage Veronique Young for W Purple Floral Brocade Drop-Waist Dress with Belt Size 4. Dress is in great vintage condition. Made in USA. There is very minor fuzziness to fabric near the belt loops on the side seams which seems to have been caused by friction with belt. Black background with purple/magenta roses all over; fabric has a bit of sheen. Lightly boned bodice. Spaghetti straps. Fitted, drop waist. Fully lined. Puffed skirt with black tulle underskirt, which is 2 inches longer than skirt. Black belt with hook-and-loop closure; faux leather on interior and satin fabric exterior with bow in front center. Belt loops hold belt at waistline. Hidden back zipper. Measurements laying flat: 40 inches in length from shoulder strap to hemline, plus an additional 2 inches of tulle underskirt; 16 inches armpit to armpit; middle section measures 4 inches; 13.75 inches across top of middle section; 16.5 inches across bottom of middle section. Belt is 1.25 inches wide and 31.5 inches long. Item comes from smoke-free, cat-friendly home.
