Single-breasted short coat made of genuine curly black karakul* lamb fur, circa 1950s. From Western Furs, Ltd., of Regina, Canada. Trimmed with palomino mink stole collar. Hip length, with slits on side for movement. Long sleeves with cuffed hems. Side pockets. Front closure with two Art Deco-style buttons. Fully lined with black satin lining. Great vintage condition. Free of bald spots, and lining is without holes or odors. Wear & restoration consistent with age & fur type: touch-ups on hide along edges, repair to lining seam, small nick in top button.
