This NWT John Galliano silk couture evening gown is being sold from the archives of a well-known European tv personality. The piece is silk with a watermarked pattern in the silk which shows as the light hits it differently, there is a photo here with flash to best see. The unique design buttons around the back of the neck like a halter, then has two sash-like pieces that tie around the waist/low hips. The design is deliberately loose around the torso and this plus the sash-tie feature around the top of the hips mean it can fit a large range of sizes. We estimate this could comfortable fit anyone between a US 4 and US 8. It is a breathtaking “water”-like drape and once in a lifetime piece to own, straight from the runway.
