Antique Handpainted Portrait Pin

Antique pin with handpainted portrait of girl / young woman. Portrait set in small oval -- possibly gold filled / plated frame. Pin has a "C" type closure. I am thinking this pin is from the late 1800's-early 1900's. Approximately 1" x .5" Note: there appears to be some scraps at the picture and the suspected gold plating is peeling. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful piece of jewelry art that deserves a good home. Note: Most of my jewelry is pre-loved. I only wipe down jewelry. I do not deep clean any jewelry before shipping. I am not a professional and do not want to risk damaging any vintage item. There may be a small amount of verdigris. I will note any flaws/defects. Lighting might affect the colors in the photos.
